Product Name:

anti-Iba1

Catalog Number:

019-19741

The anti-Iba1 anibody works very good with rat and mouse frozen tissue sections at 1:2000 dilution following manufacturers protocol. It works best when the animal is perfused with 4% PFA. I recommend this antibody for for IF or IHC staining.

Results Summary

The antibody works very well in fixed frozen section. Recently I published a paper using this antibody entitled 'Diet-driven microbiota dysbiosis is associated with vagal remodeling and obesity.' in Physiol Behav. 2017 May 1;173:305-317. doi: 10.1016/j.physbeh.2017.02.027. Epub 2017 Feb 27.

Summary

The Good

The antibody works at very high dilution and it is very specific and cost effective.

The Bad

The antibody does not work good if the PFA perfusion is incomplete or not good.

The Bottom Line

The antibody works at very high dilution and it is very specific and cost effective in rat and mouse frozen tissue section.
