The Fortessa is a great machine that is easy to use. It is great for multicolor flow cytometry analysis. Currently, our lab uses it to analyze a range of PBMC's ranging from total PBMC's to CD4+ T cells. It comes equipped with a range of filters that are easy to change allowing for optimization of flow panels. The software is also straight forward making it easy to compensate overlapping emissions. The flow rate can be adjusted at your convenience depending on the concentration of cells in your samples. The data collected from the samples can be analyzed with the machines software or can be exported into files. Overall, this is a great machine that runs smoothly and is easy to learn.

Make sure to use spectral analyzer tools to avoid overlapping emission.
