PCR Mouse Genotyping

We wanted to determine the genotype our newly generated floxed mice and confirm the deletion of our gene of interest. We submitted mouse tails for high throughput PCR.

The pre-labelled envelope was used to mail out the mouse tissue. The results were uploaded to our Genetyper account within 4 business days.

Results Summary

I collected mouse tails and placed them in 0.2mL 8-tube strips with 100 uL of 95% ethanol. I completed the order form online, specifying the gene of interest. The tubes were labeled and placed in the provided packaging with a copy of the order form and mailed out. I received the annotated Gel image of the PCR results within a few days.
