As a T cell biology lab focusing on translational cell-based therapeutics, we use 1uM CFSE to label primary human peripheral blood mononuclear cells to observe immune cell proliferation during 14 days of culture by flow cytometry. Tonobo Bioscience's CFSE reagent works great and is a fraction of the price of other companies.

Stained with 1uM CFSE using Tonbo's data sheet instructions.
Make sure you wash well, and start with a lower concentration of CFSE as it is very bright.
T cells were easily identifiable by the CFSE stain and we were able to clearly see proliferation during culture with corresponds to a decrease in CFSE MFI by flow cytometry.
