We work in mouse models and do a good deal of genotyping on our mice. We use the AccuStart II GelTrack PCR SuperMix in all of our PCRS for genotyping. It was recommended to us by another lab years ago and since then we have used it for all of our PCR needs - it is good quality, reasonably priced, and produces consistent results. It is room temperature stable and isn't affected by multiple freeze thaw cycles

Simply add AccuStart to primers, water, and template for each reaction. Runs under a variety of PCR cycling conditions, making it easy to optimize for your amplicons. This Gel Track version already contains a loading buffer, so you can load your PCR samples directly into your gel.
Keep in mind that the Gel Track version comes with loading buffer in the master mix, but the regular AccuStart II does not.
