The aim of our research is to see transcriptional regulation of genes involved in bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD). BPD is a disease that affects newborn infants (mostly preterm babies) after being exposed to long term oxygen therapy. In our laboratory, we mimic this disease in mouse models by exposing newborn pups (P0) to oxygen for 4 consecutive days, followed by their recovery for the next 10 days (till P14) after which they are sacrificed and their lungs harvested. We used PARIS Ab to see the effect of mitophagy on lungs after hyperoxia exposure. We specifically selected PARIS from Biolegend, because it was the cheapest as compared to Abcam with more convincing and clean data.
