The kit is provided with Sso7d DBP (double strand binding protein). This kit provides an advantage when compared with a normal SYBR green 2X master mix. The DBP provides stability of interactions between the polymerase and the DNA thereby increasing the efficiency of the enzyme and processivity. The EvaGreen provides an added advantage when compared to the SYBR green.

cDNA
10 microliters of the master mix are used for setting up 20 microliter reaction. With the appropriate amount of the primers and the 100 ng of the cDNA as template. and the final volume is makeup to 20 microliters with nuclease-free water.
Always use good quality of cDNA as the starting material
A good amplification curve is obtained during the reaction. The kinetics of the curve is much better when compared with the conventional master mix due to the SSo DBP.
