I direct a core imaging facility. One of the services that we offer is Array Tomography (AT). AT is a technique of embedding and cutting tissue in order to deliver sub-diffraction limit z-stacks of tissue, typically brain and CNS. The image section shown has a z resolution of 70nm. We use this particular PSD95 as a post synaptic marker and positive control. We like this antibody because it is bright and specific. It enables us to locate where we are in the tissue and eliminate artifact when used in conjunction with DAPI and synapsin.
