TCblR is a newly discovered receptor that is used for internalization if vitamin B12 in humans. Due to its recent discovery, the tissue specific expression of the protein and its mRNA is not known. Therefore, we aimed to study mRNA levels of TCblR in different regions of brain, both for WT and TCblR KO mouse. We used SYBR Green qPCR mastermix for this study since it was recommended by colleagues.
