We use this PCR system for genotyping reactions on one of our transgenic mouse models. It works well and is consistent however it is more expensive than some other kits that include a master mix. We continue to use this kit simply because we have a well established protocol using it. Good basic PCR kit.

Mouse genomic DNA
Mix water, 10x buffer, MgCl, primers, dNTPs, polymerase and template. Determine appropriate annealing temperature based on your primer's melting temperature. Run PCR protocol on a thermocycler.
