The general aim of the research is to determine if bone marrow derived dendritic cells, M0, M1, or M2 macrophages can up regulate Nos2 after LPS treatment. Nos2 can also be used to differentiate between macrophage subsets. Nos2 was used as a marker for M1 cells.
