Based on the literature, CD206 can be used to differentiate between M1 and M2 macrophages. The CD206 antibody was used for this purpose. M1, M2, and M0 macrophage subsets were differentiated ex vivo from bone marrow cells and CD206 was used to confirm the population identity.
