This formalin free fixative results in better histology images and is much safer and environmentally friendly.
Histology
Fresh mouse skin tissue (although we have done pig skin as well)
Mix component A and B. Submerge sample in volume required and fix overnight. Proceed with embedding, sectioning and staining of sample as normal.
Thicker tissues may need to be fixed for a longer period of time
When compared to standard formalin fixation, we obtained better images using this product
