Our lab digests human tissue to extract lymphocytes for studies that focus on memory T cell subsets. In our panel we need a CD4 marker that is dim since there are a plethora of CD4+ cells in our samples. This antibody works well because it is dim enough not to spill over, but bright enough that the CD4+ population is very clear.

Cells were stained in 100uL FACS buffer with antibody at 1:200; for 1 hour on ice and in the dark. Cells were washed with FACS buffer and run in 100uL FACS buffer.

We were able to see all the CD4+ cells in our samples and gate on them for downstream marker analysis and comparison between different CD4+ cell subsets.
