This kit was used to detect secreted human interferon-beta from human cells stimulated with cytosolic dinucleotides for 24hours. The kit produced excellent results.
ELISA
Purified recombinant standards and tissue culture supernatants from stimulated cells (HeLa and THP-1)
HeLa and matured THP-1 cells were transfected with 1-10 microgram/ml of 3'3' cyclic GAMP (Invivogen) for 24 hours. Tissue culture supernatants were harvested. The assay was performed using the manufacturer's suggested protocol.
You may need to dilute experimental samples to fall within the range of the standards
Standard values (5000-33 pg/ml) were used to fit a 4 parameter line. Secreted IFN-beta from transformed cell lines was detected within the range of previously published values.
