Blot images are clear and easy to analyze. There's no film so it cuts down on the amount of time needed to develop and analyze blot results. Blot scans take anywhere between 30 seconds to 10 minutes depending on the signal strength/protein content of your target protein. The use of a fluorescent secondary and the software that comes with the equipment makes densitometry analysis simple and easy.
