In our lab we work with different lentiviral constructs. One of the constructs we use to transduced human CD8+ T cells has a truncated mouse CD8 reporter. To detect cells that were successfully transduced with this lentivirus we stain the cells with the PE anti-mouse CD8a. This clone (53-6.7) was recommended to detect this truncated mouse CD8.
