We were looking for an antibody to stain active caspase 3 in cells and neurons and tested a few. This one worked consistently and well, although dimmer than some of the others it was reliable.
Immunofluorescence
Primary Mouse Neurons
1:500 in 5% Donkey Serum at 4C overnight
10% Donkey Serum at RT 1hr
1:400 Dylight Donkey anti-rabbit
None
Microscopy
Antibody worked well to stain active caspase in neurons and we were able to score apoptotic vs non-apoptotic cells using this antibody. We had to use it in the Far Red channel, but would likely give brighter better signal in another channel.

Good antibody to try for active caspase 3 staining, one of the best ones we have tried and also one of the cheaper ones.
