Company:

R&D systems

Product Name:

Polyclonal CD31/PECAM-1 Antibody

Catalog Number:

AF3628

This antibody was used to analyze the presence of PECAM-1 positive endothelial cells in differentiated culture of mouse embryonic stem cells (mESCs). This polyclonal (goat) anti-CD31 antibody appears specific to endothelial tissue, with a cell membrane distribution, as expected for a CAM.

Summary

The Good

Specific signal to endothelial cell by immunofluorescence

The Bad

not known

The Bottom Line

Good antibody overall. Recommended for immunofluorescence study of endothelial cells in mouse cell cultures. This antibody reacts with the cell adhesion molecule PECAM-1, also known as CD31. The antibody is a Goat polyclonal, care should be taken to use Donkey secondary antibodies when doing co-staining studies.
