Product Name:

BD OptiBuild™ BV786 Rat Anti-Mouse CD31

Catalog Number:

740870

I use this antibody in an 8 color panel for sorting/identification of endothelial cells from murine livers on a MoFlo Astrios equipped with a 405 nm laser and detected by a 795/70 filter. It spills some into the channel for PE-Cy7 (561:795/70) and APC-Cy7 (642:795/70) but is easily corrected by compensation.

Experimental Design and Results Summary

Applications

Flow Cytometry

Sample

Murine liver

Primary Incubation

1:600, 4C, 10-30 million cells per ml, 20 to 30 min stain

Blocking Agent

Anti CD16/CD32 at 1:500

Secondary Incubation

NA

Tertiary Incubation

NA

Detection

Flow cytometry, 405 nm laser, 795/70 bandpass filter.

Results Summary

Nice separation on non-parenchymal cells from in situ digested livers. Doesn't work well if tissue is digested with Pronase E but works well when digested with Liberase thermolysin medium.
