Our lab is interested in in enhancing the anti-HIV activity if antibodies by improving their NK-cell mediated ADCC activity. As such, we set up many in vitro ADCC assays with purified NK cells via CD56 positive selection and HIV infected target cells to study antibody ADCC capacity. We need good antibodies that can detect the quality of our purification, as well as distinguish the effector cells from target cells in these assays.
