We use this machine to scan histology slides of mouse brain tissue. We chose this machine because of its ease of use, fast acquisition and ease of automation. It makes it easy to analyze the data without having to compile multiple individual photographs.
Imaging histology slides
Parafin embedded and frozen mouse brain sections
Put slides in slide cassette. Load cassette into the machine. Set scan specimen threshold. Set focus range. Save protocol. Click "go".
Dont use too much mounting media when attaching the cover slips. Be sure not to nail polish or seal your slides before using the machine.
High definition images of entire histology slides.
Panoramic viewer software is extremely useful and easy to use.
