Lentiviral p24 is a virus core/capsid protein. Detecting this protein level in lysis of viral particles can predict the titer of your viral solution. This kit contains all reagents you need for doing this. It is convenient, fast, precise and most popular method for checking viral titer.

Protocol Overview

Make series dilution of your sample and standard (included), add them into 8-well strips in 96-well frame. After lysis in lysis buffer, wash wells 5 times. Add Anti-p24-Biotin, wash again, add streptavidin-HRP. The color will be indicated by adding substrate of HRP. Stop the reaction with stop solution, and now it is ready to read the OD at 450nm.

Tips

You may need to dilute your sample more or less depending on the titer of it.

Results Summary

This kit always gives you a very good response curve (standard curve). The R value is almost 1.0 which is important to calculate your sample titer precisely as long as your sample dilution is suitable.
