Real time gene quantification require a good quality cDNA for analysis. Takara cDNA synthesis kit is a very good choice for conversion of RNA to cDNA. This kit is provided with both oligo dT and random hexamer in separate vials. This kit has higher sensitivity which can be used at less concentration of RNA. This kit can be used with simple one step reaction.

The kit can be used by following the manufacturers protocol. Briefly 4 µl of primescript buffer, 1 µl of dNTPs ,1µl of oligo dT and 0.5µl of RNAse inhibitor is added to RNA and make up to volume to 20 µl and incubated at 42 degree for 1 hour
A good quality of RNA is required for cDNA synthasis. do not take more than 5µg of RNA .
A good quality of cDNA is obtained which can be used for realtime analysis and cloning.
