GAPDH is a commonly used loading control for western blotting and qPCR. Glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate dehydrogenase (abbreviated as GAPDH) is an important enzyme involved in glycolysis. Because it is a house keeping gene, GAPDH is a commonly used loading control for western blotting and qPCR. We  used this antibody as an internal control for western blotting.
