This reagent is a highly sensitive fluorescent secondary antibody. We analyze samples of crude Arabidopsis thaliana (mouse-ear cress) protein extract from seedlings or later developmental stages and bacterial extracts. We use this specific antibody to determine whether the target is expressed in the plant by standard western blotting after incubation with a suitable primary antibody. This is followed by fluorescence detection using Typhoon Scanners or UV-coupled digital image acquisition. This antibody works excellent for detection, we tested several comparable products from various companies.
