Company:

Biolegend

Product Name:

PE anti-mouse lymphotoxin beta receptor (LTβR)

Catalog Number:

134403

Anti-mouse lymphotoxin beta receptor (LTβR) mAb clone 5G11 from BioLegend was used to detect LTβR expression on splenocytes and intestinal epithelial cells.

Experimental Design and Results Summary

Applications

Flow Cytometry

Sample

Wild-type C57BL/6 and LTbR KO splenocytes

Primary Incubation

1:100 and 1:200 dilutions on ice for 30 min

Blocking Agent

Staining buffer (2% calf serum in PBS)

Secondary Incubation

NA

Tertiary Incubation

NA

Detection

mAb was directly conjugated to PE

Results Summary

LTbR can be detected on CD11b+ wild-type splenocytes. Importantly, no LTbR signal was detected from stained LTbR KO cells.

Additional Notes

Histograms depict LTbR staining on CD11b+ gated cells. WT: wild-type cells, LTbR KO: cells from LTbR gene targeted mouse, FMO: fluorescence minus one control. Full: cells stained with anti-LTbR mAb at 1:100 and 1:200 dilutions.

Summary

The Good

Easy to use and specific detection of antigen

The Bad

Limited selection of conjugated fluorochromes

The Bottom Line

This mAb allows specific detection of LTbR on primary cells. We successfully used this product on splenocytes and intestinal epithelial cells.
