Here, the interest is to see the proteomic profile of human serum by using 2D gel electrophoresis, but the human serum having about 50% albumin and IgG protein that causes the masking effect on low abundant protein and we can not resolve these low abundant protein on the gel. Therefore, this kit was used and depleted the serum as per protocol that is helpful deplete these high abundant protein from plasma/serum and give better profile on gel.
