We used this antibody to measure I-Ad levels from BALB/c or BALB/c x B6 mice. This antibody was particularly useful when we needed to distinguish BALB/c and B6 MHC II molecules. Our research investigates antigen processing and presentation pathways in different subsets of murine lymphocytes and splenocytes.

The I-Ad antibody specifically stains I-Ad and does not cross-react with B6 MHC II molecules.
Specific staining

This antibody works well if you need to distinguish MHC II molecules from BALB/c (or other I-Ad strains) mice from B6 mice.
