I am analyzing immune cell populations in the murine lung and how they change following viral infection. I needed an isotype control for each antibody in my panel and I chose this product because it was recommended from the company as the isotype control for my CD11b antibody.

I was expecting a well separated population for my CD11b+ cells and its respective isotype control to show very minimal to no binding. But this isotype showed a high level of background that was not present when I used other antibody isotypes. It made it more difficult to work with my samples and I had to purchase new antibodies.

I was not happy with this product and had to purchase new antiobodies. I would be hesitant getting an isotype control here again.
