Our lab generates a lot of protein knockouts in mouse embryonic stem cells using crispr-cas9 technology. We use this product to expose our western blot membranes for imaging.

Protocol Overview

Prepare Working Solution by mixing equal parts of the Stable Peroxide Solution and the Luminol/Enhancer Solution. Use 0.1mL Working Solution per cm2 of membrane, and incubate membrane in solution for 1-5 minutes depending on strength of antibody. Remove excess solution and image immediately.

Tips

Expose for 1 minute only, not 5 as recommended in manual.

Results Summary

This product is very easy to use and is highly sensitive to proteins so you can use a smaller amount of your protein sample or antibody.
