I'm evaluating kinesin protein expression in a panel of tumor cell lines. I ordered a number of antibodies targeting KIF15 and ran a series of validation assays to determine the best conditions/antibody for future studies.

Results Summary

The blots revealed nice, clean bands at the predicted molecular weight. Very faint, non-specific band also observed.

The Bad

Faint non-specific bands, but they don't affect ability to determine expression of the protein of interest in this case.

The Bottom Line

Good antibody that I would recommend for evaluation of KIF15 protein expression by Western.
