Company:

Bosterbio

Product Name:

Anti-HIF-2-alpha antibody

We sought to see differences in expression of EPAS1 in protein from mouse lung samples. We selected this product because we have used other antibodies from Boster in the past with success.

Experimental Design and Results Summary

Applications

Western Blot

Sample

Mouse lung lysates

Primary Incubation

1:1000 in 5% milk, 4 degrees ON, rotating

Blocking Agent

2 hrs RT, 5% milk

Secondary Incubation

1:2000 goat-anti-mouse HRP, 2 hrs, RT, rotating

Tertiary Incubation

NA

Detection

SuperSignal West Femto Maximum Sensitivity Substrate

Results Summary

We got bands as expected, but they were not indicative of good conjugation as they were very light. We believe this is because we did not use the recommended Enhanced Chemiluminscent kit with anti-rabbit IgG (EK1002), so we will repeat the experiment with this chemi kit before concluding whether the antibody worked or not.
