This was used to analyze TNF-a levels in murine lung homogenate following infection with M. tuberculosis. Assay is simple to use and gives reliable and consistent results.

Murine lung homogenate supernatant
Mice were infected with M. tuberculosis, lungs were collected into PBS-tween and homogenized. Homogenate sup was filtered through 0.22um filter (due to biosafety concerns) and then diluted 1:3 in assay diluent for analysis. Protocol was followed as per product guidelines.
May need to dilute sample to get within the standard curve.
