Thermo Fisher Scientific

Product Name:

Turbo DNA free Kit

Catalog Number:

AM1907

Bacterial RNA samples extracted from Trizol method were treated with Turbo DNase enzyme following Turbo DNA free kit protocol. Absence of genomic DNA was confirmed by diagnostic PCR of the Turbo DNase treated samples. This enzyme removed genomic DNA efficiently from precious RNA samples in solution.

Experimental Design and Results Summary

Application

Real time PCR using bacterial RNA samples

Starting Material

Total RNA from E. coli

Protocol Overview

Bacterial RNA samples extracted from Trizol method were treated with Turbo DNase enzyme in solution following kit's easy to perform instructions. 2 microliters of enzyme was used for a total of 50 micrograms of RNA in a 50 microliter reaction volume.
