The aim of this experiment was to determine the proportion of RBC'S bound to IgM immunoglobulin from dogs that have Immune mediated hemolytic anemia. This antibody serves the purpose of detecting such bound RBC's.

Results Summary

The results generated by flow cytometry are in the form of percent positive or negative. In the case of dogs that are suspected of IMHA, we do see a positive population of cells bound to IgM. The percentage of these cells varies from dog to dog.
