These beads are used for calibration and verification of the magpix instrument before use. They contain a unique lot number and all of the information on that lot is available on a CD to download before running it.

The appropriate function is elected from the maintenance tab of the software. The cal/ver beads along with fluidic is added into the appropriate slot and the program is selected and run.
