We used this antibody to screen CDYL2 knockout candidates using Western Blots. The first lane shows wild-type cell lysate while the rest show cell lysates from knockout candidates. We chose the antibody because the band on the image of Western blot on the Novus site looked specific and of the right size.

Two bands instead of one indicates non-specific binding. Also, we later confirmed two of the knockout candidates as true knockouts through sequencing, even though the western blot indicated otherwise.
