This system is used for protein transfers for western blots. The system is easy to use and when using TGX mini gels, protein transfer is completed in 3 minutes. This is great for protein transfer.

Turn on machine. Make a "sandwich" with your gel and the contents of a Bio-Rad turbo transfer pack in the cassette. Insert cassette and turn on. Wait the THREE minutes (for mini TGX gels). Take out transferred membrane and turn off machine.
Make sure to orient the gel and membrane in the correct direction.
This is an incredible machine. Can do what it takes over an hour to do in CAPS buffer in 3 minutes flat. Transferred membranes look as good as those from traditional methods and I believe there is less change of air bubbles with this system because you make the transfer sandwich in the cassette so you minimize the chance of introducing bubbles while handling.
