Company:

EMD Millipore

Product Name:

Rabbit anti-fibrinogen

Catalog Number:

341552

This is a cheap primary antibody compared with all other common primary antibodies from rabbit. Dilution is also okay, 1:2000 does the job. It works quite well against pure bovine fibrinogen as I tried (see image), while a-chain is not well recognized, b and r chain are fine. However, if your sample is from a tissue, blood or organ, this antibody does not work at all.

Results Summary

A pure protein on the western blots works well with this antibody, although the a-chain is not so well recognized. However, the bands are clean and readable.
