Company:

Alpco

Product Name:

Alpha-2-macroglobulin ELISA

Catalog Number:

30-6610

We needed a protein assay to measure a2-macroglobulin in nasal secretions, which is a biomarker for epithelial leak. This kit was easy to use, and the results were reliable. The kit only needs 10uL of sample and the wells are pre coated so the assay can be done it a day making it superior to many cumbersome ELISA kits.

Experimental Design and Results Summary

Application

ELISA

Starting Material

Human nasal secretions

Protocol Overview

Very typical ELISA protocol, except that the wells are pre-coated so the procedure can be done in 1 day.

Tips

Very straightforward

Results Summary

Reliable results, and did not need to optimize dilutions as the results fell on the standard curve.

Additional Notes
