I used promega 1 kb ladder to check the product size of my PCR product. I preferred this product because it has premixed dye thus it's ready to use and lasts a long time.

I loaded 5 microlitres of the ladder and 10 microlitres of my PCR products. Gel was run for an hour at 80 V and then photographed.
