I used 293T cells to induce apoptosis by oxidative stress. I check apoptosis by determining the active caspase 3 using this kit. The reason, I went for this kit is because it has easy read out and active caspase 3 is the hallmark of both intrinsic and extrinsic pathway.
Flow cytometry
239T cells
I gave oxidative stress to 293T in vitro and determined the activation of caspase 3 by flow cytometry staining. Briefly, cell were harvested, fixed and stained for PE conjugated caspase 3 antibody.
Just follow the manufacturer's protocol
The caspase 3 activity was observed upon oxidative stress in 293T cells.
