Solution is used to detect protein bands on PVDF membranes to determine protein transfer efficiency in western blots. Easy to use solution that can be destained with NaOH.
Protein Staining
None
Add solution to transferred membrane and let stain for a few minutes (typically 5 min.). Determine protein staining and destain with 0.1M NaOH for 1 min.
Submerge the membrane completely
PVDF membranes show proteins bands after staining and can be easily destained and then blocked and probed for proteins of interest. Good pre-made solution for detecting transferred protein.
