Though luminex kits can measure the concentration of multiple cytokines from within a serum sample, mouse IFN alpha is not within those kits, and thus need to be measured by their own individual kit. This kit was evaluated for it's use in measuring Mouse IFN Alpha within mouse serum.

Follow the protocol as per manufacturers instructions. A 2-day assay, with incubations steps taking the assay to over 27 hours.
The assay range is 12.5 - 400 pg/ml, so do multiple dilutions of your serum sample.
Consistent, reproducible and with low variation within replicate serum samples.
