Protocol Overview

1. Add 50 ul undiluted mouse serum into each well. Duplicate for each mouse. 2. 2 fold dilution for IL-6 standard supplied from Kit: 100-50-25-12.5-6.25-0pg/mL. 3. Follow the exact steps described from kit. 4. Measure OD450 and OD570 reads. 5. Calculate IL-6 standard curve and serum level

Take care during multiple washing steps

Results Summary

Kit provides very good specificity and sensitivity range. Duplicate wells show very similar reads and even 6.25g/mL wells still can distinguish from background buffer and within linear reads.
