I use this antibody to gate specifically on T cells in order to distinguish between gd T cells and ab T cells in the gut. In addition, I use it to analyse the expression level of TCRb, for example during the T cell development in the thymus.

Results Summary

This antibody is used for staining alpha beta T cells. In my hands, I just got a good seperation by using it in a low dilution (1:100- 1:200).

The Bottom Line

Although the dilution is very low, I use this antibody regularly to distinguish e.g. alpha beta versus gamma delta T cells, since here the separation of both populations is quite clear.
