Product Name:

RNaseZAP

Catalog Number:

R2020

The aim of the experiment we were running was to test the effect of milk feeding on gene regulation in diabetic rats. For this, total RNA from rat liver were isolated and quantified using semi-quantitative PCR.  During RNA isolation, RNaseZAP is sprayed in the working area to avoid air contamination; surfaces and gloves were cleaned by wiping with this cleaning agent. RNaseZAP from Sigma Aldrich was used because it was easily available. RNA integrity was checked by measuring 28S/5S RNA in ethidium bromide agarose gel. Integrity of RNA was maintained and found to be a good quality RNA.
