I had transfected 293T cells with plasmid expressing HA tagged Zranb1. 24 hours post transfection I made a whole cell lysate, ran protein on a SDS gel and did a western blot followed by detection of Zranb1 using the antibody from Novus. To confirm the band which I saw with the Zranb1 antibody was correct or not, I had stripped and reprobed the blot with HA antibody which I already had tested before and knew to work very well in westerns.
