The general aim of my research was to investigate the expression of TREM-1 in urological cancers. I used this kit specifically to measure sTREM-1 expression in the plasma and urine collected from both cancer and non-cancer patients. I selected this product based on the company and other literature that cited this product.

Tips

Use fresh samples if possible or freeze upon collecting.

Results Summary

I was able to obtain the results I was expecting with my hypothesis. The results from urine were not as consistent as results from plasma and therefore required me to repeat the experiment using the same kit to obtain a better range of results.
